Celebrating iberoamerican design

The design for the Latin-American Biennale trophies plays with the superposition of geometric shapes and colors in transparent methacrylate in order to generate an abstract silhouette.

This proportional construction composed of architectural traces interacts with ambient light, projecting colored shadows and so engaging with the surfaces surrounding the object The merging of the various color planes generate surprising combinations that vary according to the observer’s view.

This effect evokes colorful stained-glass windows, which illuminate space and themselves shine, even as it is a contemporary construct whose geometric forms deriving directly from our own architecture.
