Doressā, which means “sideboard” in Japanese, is a wooden furniture piece designed to hold day-to-day objects, as it is lightweight and moveable , it can be placed in diverse domestic spaces, and used to divide rooms.
The structure of the piece is formed by a series of delicately angled wooden supports that are organized around perimeter as if they were branches.
This organic quality of layering affords glimpses into the interior, facilitating its use.
Like the Japanese imaginary, the design connects with the natural by creating an optical effect of overlapping branches, placing objects amidst and interior forest.
